I’ve been a fan of minimalist wallets for a number of years now. This is the nicest by far. It holds a good amount of cards. There’s a couple of nice, slim slots for individual cards, two on the inside of the flap and one on the rear of the wallet. The majority of cards are housed in a plastic case that has a small lever on the bottom, flicking the lever pushes the cards up out of the wallet, automatically fanning them so it’s easy to grab the individual card of your choice. The card holder is clad in the same leather as the rest of the wallet making it far more attractive than similar wallets I’ve used previously. There’s also an elasticated strap inside the wallet that can be used for a number of different purposes including holding cash (notes and even a few coins) or even an individual key when you want to stay free of bulging pockets on a night out. The leather is nice quality and the stitching is peerless, it’s really made to the highest standards. There’s a small discrete Viking head logo stamped into the bottom corner and also on a leather square stitched to the inner strap to mark this out as part of “The Beard Struggle” family. The branding is really tastefully done and adds to the overall attractiveness the wallet. The wallet as a whole is a little bulkier than my Bando 2.0 since it has the added flap and leather construction. It slips in and out of the pocket much better though with the smooth leather and neater lines. I haven’t noticed the extra bulk at all either, which I admit did initially concern me as to whether this could replace my beloved Bando as my everyday carry. I need not have worried though, it’s actually a much better overall product and works much better for EDC. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and it shows absolutely no signs of wear. The build quality and materials convince me that this will be my EDC wallet for a good few years to come. Thanks to The Beard Struggle again for producing an excellent product at a very modest price for this quality level. They haven’t disappointed me once, a top company with excellent products and service.
